7000 Jars is Kingston’s first bottle shop and tap room. They work with producers who put quality and creativity above anything else. The breweries they stock are small independently run businesses or world-renowned niche producers. Be it beers, wines, or spirits, the products on their shelves are produced in small-batch quantities not intended for mass market.

Initial Steps of Starting a Business
The initial steps of the journey is extremely obscure. Susie believes that the key to starting a business is to get excited and keep motivated. A tremendous aspect is faith. She believed in  

‘Taking the leap and  checking the parachute later’.

Yes, this requires confronting fear. And no, Susie didn’t start with all the resources, but she recognised that the journey doesn’t require having all the answers in the beginning. But knowledge is the element that guides Susie in her business. Whether it’s acquiring knowledge, finding knowledge, and/or employing it, Susie is about figuring out the elements and keeping faith in the process.

Sourcing your own products
Susie goes through great lengths to ensure that all of the products being offered are of quality. In addition to having an extensive background in the brewery industry, Susie and her team taste-tests each product to ensure it’s to their liking. 7000 will not offer a product that their staff-members are not proud of themselves.
