About Alina Pimkina
Before moving to New York, Alina reached the pinnacle of the design industry in Russia, where she founded a full-service hospitality design company after serving as the Creative Director for the leading restaurant developer in Russia. Throughout her career, which also includes time as an Art Director at BBDO and MTV, Alina has worked closely with project owners, investors, and partners, including Mercedes, Nike, MasterCard, and IKEA.


About Julien Albertini

Julien has been pivotal in broadening Asthetíque Group’s multidisciplinary practice. With over 10 years of design and construction experience, Julien has compiled a strong list of clients from Calvin Klein and DKNY to 1 Hotels and Silverstein Properties. This spectrum of his experience includes base building design, building renovations, residential design, as well as hospitality and retail developments.

When everybody is going one way, Asthetique is driven to explore the other path. This goes against conventional teachings, however, this breeds unconventional results. 

Why Design is an Investment
Design at it’s foundation is a great tool to attract people, deliver the right message, and bring in more money into the business. In the example of hospitality, design leads directly into logistics. Plate-sizes, environment of the room, lighting, all plays a direct role in customer-experience.

What it Means to be an Entrepreneur
Entrepreneur is a word that is loosely thrown around. From an outside perspective, it looks has complete freedom of their time and is their own boss. However in reality, an individual that chooses to become an entrepreneur, is actually making a decision to work all the time.
