La Pelucherie

About Alexandria
Alexandra Rapaport is the amazing mother of three children and co-founder of Paris’s most popular plush and soft toy provider; La Pelucherie! The brand began in 1976 by her grandmother, Lydie Castoriano. She opened a store selling plushes on the famed Champs Elysées.

Alexandra spent her childhood playing with the fluffy toys, making these incredible animals a huge part of our life! So together with her sister, she decided to quit her job and dedicate herself to what she felt was most important: sharing the joy she received throughout our childhood.

About La Pelucherie
La Pelucherie sells hand-made soft toys and plushes. The love that they put into their animals doesn’t end with their fabrication. They cherish the act of giving; Each child receives a soft pouch embroidered with their name to serve as their new friend’s home.
